head -n -xx 有异曲同工之妙.当下达『tail -n 100 /etc/man.config』 代表该档案从 100 行以后都会被列出杢,同样的,在 man.config 共有 141 行,因此第 100~141 行就会被列出来啦! 前面的 99 行都不会被显示出杢喔!

深入理解,如果我们需要输入某个档案内,10-20行到内容,怎么办？

这样去[root@localhost etc]# head -n 20 /etc/man.config |tail -n 10
# when MANPATH contains an empty substring), to find out where the cat
# pages corresponding to given man pages should be stored,
# and to map each PATH element to a manpath element.
# It may also record the pathname of the man binary. [This is unused.]
# The format is:
#
# MANBIN pathname
# MANPATH manpath_element [corresponding_catdir]
# MANPATH_MAP path_element manpath_element
